This beautiful art piece is co-created by 9 artists (Tessa, Giselle, Aixuan, Celine YJS, CK Lai, Kok Wah, Daniea, Queenie, Mich) from Duduk Rumah Artists for Cancer Research Malaysia. Each artist has their own unique style, but together they portray a harmonious scene of us Malaysians enjoying a meal together, celebrating our culture and diversity.

In our Merdeka spirits, we at Duduk Rumah Artists would love to show love and care to marginalized communities in the country, so no one gets left behind.
#Merdekavatar is a collaborative fund-raising movement by Duduk Rumah Artists and Cancer Research Malaysia in conjunction with Merdeka day and Malaysia day. Donors who have contributed in the movement will receive a personalized Merdeka themed avatar in Jalur Gemilang colors by one of our artists!
We are very honoured to fundraise for one of the many unsung heroes in Malaysia, Cancer Research Malaysia.
The strongest people are not those who show strength in front of us but those who win battles we know nothing about.
We hope by having this campaign, these people are made known to the public of their great contribution towards the deadly disease we all fear about, CANCER.
This Merdeka is surely a meaningful one for the #dudukrumahartists family.
Our donors' contributions will support breakthrough research in cancers common in Asians like oral and breast cancer, new and effective cancer prevention and treatment options for Asians, as well as lifesaving services like genetic counselling, and their patient navigation programme which helps underprivileged women overcome barriers to timely diagnosis and treatment.
